Let The Word of Christ Dwell In You

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God." - Colossians 3:16

Is the agenda of Christ in you? Is it in you richly? Is it in you partially? Is it in you at all? Do you know what it is?

When the Kingdom's doctrines are held by a person, the King himself acts to advance that Kingdom through that person.

Is this a description of you?

Many Christians "teach." Many Christians "admonish." And many, many Christians "sing." The question, for each of those Christians, is: do those actions come from the depths of your heart because Christ's intentions are at home there?

The Christian teaches because he must! Not because of a command in the Bible, but because Christ in him has convinced him that all others are better off with Christ! The Christian admonishes because he must! When he sees someone faltering or compromising the best life available to them, his love demands he intervene! The Christian sings because he must! The God that he knows is too large, too consuming, too beautiful, too loving to be contained in mere spoken words or serving actions! The Christian's gratitude forces song like sorrow forces tears.

If this is not your Christian experience, then you need to let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.
