God's Disposition
What do you think God's predisposition is towards your life?
Is he predisposed to be angry with your life? Frustrated by it? Saddened because of it?
Or is he predisposed towards happiness with your life? Contented by it? Satisfied because of it?
After a profound reflection upon who and how God is to him, David concludes that God's disposition towards him is one of faithful pursuit with goodness and love. He says, "Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life." (Psalm 23:6)
No matter where he goes, no matter what comes his way, David knows and recognizes that goodness is hot on his heels. He knows that love is after him - trying to overtake and overwhelm him.
Would that not be great if that were the nature of God?
It would. And it is.
From Genesis to Revelation, God is revealed as a God who, above all else, and in an unstoppable way, loves you.
Will you let Him?
