You Can't Love God Without Following Jesus

Be honest. Whose disciple are you?

One thing is for sure, you are being discipled. You are being taught how to act, how to react, how to be, how to relate, and how to live.

And it is your chosen teachers that are doing it.

Who is teaching you? You can know simply by observing who you spend your time exposed to.

This simple observation shows that some of you are disciples of Fox, ABC, NBC or CBS. Some of you are disciples of Hollywood movie makers, or some talented singer/songwriter. Others are disciples of their parents, or their friends, or their co-workers, bosses, playmates, or peers.

Dallas Willard says that discipleship is being with another person in a way that results in becoming like that person.

So...who are you spending your time with?

Make a serious and sacred decision to be Jesus Christ's disciple. It does not happen accidently; you don't wander into it unintentionally. Be decisive.

Study him, apply him, and be like him.
