Master: It is for your good that I am going away. (John 16:7)
Disciple: No, Jesus, never let it be!
Master: Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. (John 16:7)
Disciple: But we need you, Jesus. You have the truth.
Master: The Holy Spirit will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14:26)
Disciple: Can we share the Holy Spirit with the world?
Master: The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. (John 14:17)
Disciple: How, then, will we see and know him?
Master: Your Father in heaven will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. (Luke 11:13)
Disciple: Will we speak to him as we speak to you?
Master: The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. (John 3:8)
Disciple: And if I neglect this Holy Spirit?
Master: I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. (John 3:5-6)
