My Holy Spirit Is Yours
Disciple: Master, I long to be with you. Why couldn't I have lived during the blessed time when you roamed the earth in flesh? Then I could have had an intimate relationship with you.
Master: You are with me, if you are my disciple. You are alive during the blessed time that I roam the earth in the flesh. I am in your flesh.
Disciple: But surely a man can not carry you around in his flesh!
Master: I had another curious man ask me a similar question after I told him he must be born again in order to see the Kingdom of God. He said, "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born!" I will tell you what I told him...No one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
Disciple: The Spirit? What do you mean the Spirit.
Master: Listen closely, friend. The Spirit lives within you. He tells you what to say when you need to say it. He will make you into a spiritual being. He will give you the life I speak of. He will be with you forever. He will give life to others from out of you. He will teach you all things you need to know. He will testify about me. When you see people convicted of guilt in regard to sin or righteousness, that is the Spirit at work. He will guide you into all truth. He is how I will continue to speak to you and maintain a relationship with you and transform you into my image.
Disciple: I must have this Spirit. For He seems to do everything that I would want done by you.
Master: The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe.
Disciple: I believe, Lord! Forgive my unbelief!
