Counseling

Intensive Care

We all have experienced tough times in our lives, and these experiences can have a dramatic impact on the way we see God and the way we experience our walk with Him. Through the counseling ministry at Southwest, we want to join individuals and families in developing insight into those questions to strengthen their faith in God. Our primary areas of focus are marriage, family, and parenting, but we will gladly schedule an initial consultation for anyone, regardless of the challenge they are facing. If together, we discover that a specific challenge falls outside of our area of expertise, we will refer you to a trusted resource that shares our value of Christ-centeredness as non-negotiable to healthy living.

Counseling

With a Licensed Professional Counselor (Brad Thompson – LPC-S) on staff and many experienced lay counselors waiting to help in areas such as financial security, healthy marriages, grief/bereavement issues, and spiritual development and accountability, we would consider it an honor to be able to join you in your journey toward the “best life possible” – the one God has in mind for you.

Your work with the counseling ministry at Southwest will be done in a confidential setting that is emotionally and relationally safe for every individual. If we can serve you in this way, please contact the church office at 352-5647 to make an appointment.
