Kyle Wade

Family Minister

Kyle was born and raised in Garland, Texas. After graduating from ACU in 1996 he came to Southwest and has spent the last 15 years serving this body. While much of this time was spent in student ministry, Kyle now fills the role of Family Minister.

Our call as a body at Southwest is to make disciples through relationships, yet we live such isolated lives. Our belief is that every disciple of Jesus needs true community.  Another way to say this is that everyone needs a Timothy (someone to love, shepherd, and serve) and everyone needs a Paul (a disciple who is further down the road in their spiritual journey and is willing to pour their lives into others). We as disciples need family.

Kyle’s passion is to connect our body in intergenerational relationships for the cause of becoming more like Christ. His most ardent supporter in this venture is his wife of 13 years, Jennifer, who serves Southwest as the Children’s Director. They have four children…Morgan (10), Brock (8), Ellee (5), and Brooks (2).
