Adrian Morgan

Student Minister

Adrian was born in Hereford, Texas, but his family quickly moved to Amarillo a year later. Adrian attended the Southwest Church before graduating and moving to Searcy, Arkansas to attend Harding University. Adrian graduated from Harding University in May 2006 and moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he lived and worked for a year before deciding to make a career change.

In October 2007, he moved back to Amarillo to begin work in his passion, youth ministry. It was soon after that move that Adrian met the woman of his dreams, Kinsey Smith, who he quickly fell in love with and married in December 2008. Adrian and Kinsey have two children, Tripp and Graeme. Adrian graduated with his Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry from Abilene Christian University in August 2014. Adrian is passionate about exploring, living and calling students to this "life to the full," that Jesus talks about in John 10:10.

Favorite moment at Southwest?

This is like a dad saying which of his children he loves the most. It’s impossible to pick just one. I have been so blessed to experience and share so many great moments with our students and families over the years that there is NO way I could pick just one.

What do you love about Southwest?

This place really is family. I love how this Church cares for, loves and supports each other. In the busy, fast-paced, technology driven world that we live in I am so thankful to have a community where I can be known and know others on this beautiful, challenging journey of life.
